Day 31: favourite thing about life right now: summer school is almost over!! Yes, I have to study on my birthday to write an exam a couple of days later, but it’s almost over! 😛
Also, this piglet is always one of the highlights of my day ☺️ even if she hates being picked up.
Breakfast: Russian dish, a huge plate of grated carrots and apples with walnuts + sesame seeds + dried cranberries + agave syrup.
Lunch: Borscht (I know! Russian food day 😝) and a salad: pumpkin seeds, avocado, tomato, cucumber, pepper, ground flax seeds, nutritional yeast and olive oil as the dressing kinda.
Dinner: vegan pizza, olives, and two open faced sandwiches: rice cracker, Daiya cream cheese spread, broccoli sprouts, and Dulse sea veggie flakes.
Snack: raspberries and black currant! Half of our backyard is just huge raspberry bushes (and one black currant bush, but also cucumbers and kale, but it’s mostly raspberries 😛) so we have fresh ripe raspberries every day during our 2 month long Canadian summer 😛
Exercise: none, I had to do school work all day 😭
BUT. According to my dentist, I am very cavity free 😎

[so I had this saved in my drafts instead of queue, oops!]Early birthday present from my parents - a helmet and knee/wrist/elbow pads/guards! (My bloody knees must have convinced them to give me my present early? 😝) I feel indestructible 😎 (note: I did have a helmet before, but it was a bike helmet. Always protect the brain cells.)
Exercise: I went to the chiropractor today (2 hours), for my scoliosis (I will be doing a scoliosis post soon!) and his method involves a lot of specific exercises that focus on breathing.
Food: a smoothie and salad for breakfast, soup and salad for lunch, a veggie lasagna for dinner, and snacks of banana-peanut butter ice cream (made from scratch, topped with chocolate chips and walnuts) and a bowl of raspberries from the garden.

It’s unusually hot here in my part of Canada - a whole 29 degrees C! (Cue the groans)
Octopus bun, for studying in high temperature and humidity! Ponytails and other forms of getting my hair off my face (clips, buns, etc) are usually either uncomfortable/painful with my past-waist-length heavy hair or not sustainable (low side buns fall apart within an hour). However, today’s octopus bun has been suspiciously sustainable and painless! Not that I would wear this outside of the house, but it’s a 10/10 for anyone with the same hair frustrations especially while studying.
Exercise: I’ve been neglecting my usual exercise routine for the most part, only really doing longboarding/cardio because all I’ve been doing for the past while is Stats - assignments, test tomorrow, *cry*. But as soon as I’m done (Thursday, basically, and then back to studying for the final), I’m back to lifting weights and belly dancing!
Food: Breakfast - almond milk with “Enjoy Life” granola, hemp seeds, golden berries, and Goji berries. Lunch: pasta salad and a bit of Tofurky. Dinner: Sweet potato, tomato, and TVP dish (courtesy of Mama’s imagination) and a salad. Snacks: raspberries, apples, and strawberries! Not being very creative recently, but you can blame Stats ;P.

I think that’s probably the nicest thing anyone has ever said about my eyes, thank youu 😘 I think your eyes are really lovely as well, hunny 💛 and it’s actually really funny because I was actually playing around with pixlr-o-matic on my phone over a year ago and I did this galaxy edit on a picture of my eye!
I’ve been in the same silly mood for like 2 weeks now. Some one help meeeee. All I want to do is make silly faces at people and look up nerdy jokes and then use them on people 😭
