Breakfast: buckwheat with mushrooms and cherry tomatoes.
Lunch: Veggie sushi (at a sketchy place in Scarberia but I’m still alive! Woohoo.)
Dinner: salad and vegan pizza.
Exercise: 3.5 hours of hiking 😴
Aaand I got my hands on the Fresh (vegan) cookbooks (by Ruth Tal, the restaurant owner) and I’m sooo excited to try them out 😊

So I tried waxing for the first time despite my moderate fear of pain and super sensitive skin.
Result: my legs are covered in bruises.
Studying for my stats exam, so I’m not being/going to be very active on tumblr for a couple of days but I still love you all, ok? 💛😛
Stuffed peppers 🌿
Red bell peppers cut in half (5-7), sautéed onion and 10-12 white button mushrooms, 5 sundried tomatoes (cut in half), 100g polenta. 240 degrees Celsius ~ 20 minutes. Add 5 cloves garlic (minced) & vegenaise, distributed among the peppers. Place back into the oven for 3 more minutes.
okay seriously if you’re in a relationship or even a friendship and you find yourself spending more time crying out of sadness or arguing with them, leave them. i don’t care if they’re a modern day aphrodite/adonis or a gift bestowed upon you by the gods. toxic people are dangerous and i highly advise cutting them out of your life and finding someone who makes you laugh until you snort your drink out your nose instead.
Been there, done that, seen friends do it. If they make you cry more than they make you smile or laugh, things are very not right, and no “but I love them”s, you need to love you first.

Today~ 1/8/14
Breakfast: green smoothie, millet (I like it without salt and just really bland. I know, I’m disgusting 😛).
Lunch: plate of salad, sweet potato, and homemade marinated mushrooms, omnomnom!
Dinner: salad and quinoa pasta with sesame seeds, pickles, olives, and chickpeas.
Exercise: 20 minutes of cardio (elliptical) and then machines at the gym (40 minutes).
Birthday is tomorrow and I’m just going to spend it studying, sigh! But I think I’ll still be able to squeeze in some cake 😏
My computer got turned off because of the rain/thunder/hailstorm so this week’s weekend reads are going to be a little late! In the mean time, here is a picture of my breakfast from this morning 😛
